I had them install a remanufactured 6.0 l engine in my 03 suburban, which had over 336,000 miles on it. It runs great . They stand behind their work. As you know, parts today do not have quality control as the USA parts did years ago. I had an issue with the knock sensor. They said to bring it in. I did. They went in and fixed it. They all have been so nice. I highly recommend them.Len L.
I'm so happy that I found this business! The owner Tom, is truly a gem. His crew are also wonderful, knowledgeable guys. Tom and his mechanics took the scary part out of the decision on whether to replace my engine or buy another car. I couldn't be happier with my decision. American Engine Installations did a great job with my engine swap in a 2014 Dodge Challenger. Prices were better than all of their competitors. I was running late to pick up yesterday and they were planning on waiting past close for me, when 285 was shut down I wasn’t going to be able to make it so they opened up on a Saturday just so I could get back in my car sooner and not have to wait until Monday. Highly recommend if you need a new motor!Alex S.
I had American Engine Installations replace my 5.7 (350) vortec in my 1999 Tahoe. I also had them replace some peripheral parts to give my Tahoe the best chance to live another 21 years. They don't charge labor for the peripheral parts install since they would need to switch over the old parts to the new engine anyway. Tom (owner) and Scott (manager) are great people as is Johnny the tech that did the replacement. It's an engine installation garage so don't expect everything to be pretty there. They can and do engine installs on all kinds and years of vehicles and they do it well, good mechanics there. The price was good and the job was done right. I recommend this place.James W.
I don’t see how he’s got a 4 1/2 star! I’m 1 of the hardest humans to please and I’m more than pleased! This guy is what everyone is looking for u promise you! When i say i do homework and I’ve had many many experiences i mean that! He exceeds my expectations everytime and is going to stand behind his work 100 percent! This review was long overdue and I’ve been feeling bad for not having it done by now because when I’m mistreated i run on here but when someone treats you like these guys everytime and you never have to worry because you know he’s not going to fight you on anything and is going to make sure you’re happy when you leave! He’s so incredible he repaired something on the spot that wasn’t really even his fault but just wanted to make me happy! These guys deserve a 5 million star in telling you!
